Baldwin Station            The Knobbies

Baldwin Station is located in the heart of Central Otago. It is 7000 acres of horse riding paradise, with trails winding through sweeping expanses of grassland and in and out of rocky gullies, all the while enjoying stunning views across the beautiful Teviot Valley.

The primary landform here is rolling hill country. Baldwin is bordered to the west by the mighty Clutha/Mata-Au, as it carves its way through the rugged Roxburgh Gorge, and to the east, the farm climbs to 900m before dropping down into the back country, a tussock and swamp wilderness, which has been recognised as a Significant Natural Landscape.

Our landscape is quintessential Central Otago. Our riding trails follow tracks formed over many years by our merino sheep, as they wind their way through towering schist outcrops, and valleys filled with thyme, briar roses and manuka.

We look forward to sharing our piece of paradise with you.
